Genmaicha is a mixture of almost the same amount of bancha (coarse tea)
or occasionally sencha green tea heated at high temperatures,
and brown rice steamed and roasted until it gets a light ginger colored or bursts like popcorn.
Organic JAS Certified.
Our Genmaicha is produced in a foggy mountainside of Uji-Tawara Town in Kyoto,
and made from tea leaves grown with only natural organic fertilizer and no agricultural chemicals or pesticides.
The combination of the organic green tea leaves and flavorfully roasted brown rice is just superb.

JAS Organic Genmaicha
Ingredients: Organic Green Tea (Grown in Kyoto), Organic Brown Rice (Grown in Japan)
How to Prepare the Tea:
1. Place the tea leaves in a teapot.
2. Add hot water (around 90 degrees Celsius) into the pot.
3. Wait while the tea’s components infuse.
4. Pour the tea into a cup. Pour the tea until the last drop is poured.
