What is “dental Pick”?
Dental Pick was developed as a tool not only for cleaning dirt between gum gaps, but also helping keep healthy teeth and gums. It is isosceles triangle to fit the shape between gums so that the two sides can clear off dirt on the teeth and the bottom side can massage gums. This massage can activate gums and make its immune system stronger.
It is triangle-shape between gums.
When you push round-top toothpick between gums, you will hurt gums. Dental Pick was made not to hurt gums when using.
What’s the difference between Dental Pick and regular toothpicks?
Round-tip toothpick is popular in Japan, but it is not suitable to clean the gap between gums.
In Europe and North America, Dental Pick is commonly used after eating. We have been exporting Dental Pick since 1963, and the quality of our product is highly appreciated.
You can use triangle-tip toothpicks by folding it individually anytime, anywhere.
“This is the world-standard toothpick.”
“Toothpick” is to push out dirt between gums and its top is sharp.
Round-tip toothpick is called “cooktailpick”, that is for cooking use, same category as chopsticks, knives and cutting boards. That means round-tip toothpick, which is familiar among Japanese, is for cooking use, not for cleaning tooth.
Made from high quality white birch from HokkaidoPrefecture
We chose the ingredients for Dental Pick carefully.
When you use triangle-tip toothpick with extra strength, it is broken easily.
It is to prevent from too much pressure on the gums. Toothpicks that are hard to be broken will hurt teeth and gums with extra strength.
We chose Japanese white birch, which is flexible. Although the toothpick is broken, it is less possible to leave debris between gums because the tip may not be broken due to its flexibility.
In Japan, Japanese wood is not commonly used. Then man-made forests that are not well maintained are increasing. The cycle of “Planting”, “Raising”, “Harvesting” and “Using efficiently” creates lively forests.
“Kizukai”, which means “using wood” is an activity to make use of domestic wood more in daily life and grow lively forests. It starts from using wood effectively.
It is important to raise forests by using domestic woods to utilize the effect of forests in order to protect disasters and to absorb CO2.
